About Rendavathu Padam movie : Rendavathu Padam is a Tamil film written and directed by C. S. Amudhan. The film stars Vimal, Aravind Akash, Richard, along with Vijayalakshmi.
Renduvathu Padam movie based on the multi genre. It falls under the various categories like Period, Science-Fiction , Action, Thriller and Romance with enough scope for animation as well. Even though there’s love in the story, it’s not treated in the traditional sense. There is no separate track for comedy. The humor flows inherently through the characters.
It’s about secret identities; it’s about a CBI officer and a criminal living under the same roof. Isn’t that an improbable premise?
Though Amudhan had already selected Vimal, Aravind Akash and Richard for the lead roles; the lead actresses had not been finalized then. Vijayalakshmi was chosen for the lead female role. Sanjana Singh, who had previously appeared in Renigunta, was also selected to play another role in the film. The crew revealed that the film has been shot at Chennai, Hyderabad, Pondicherry, Malaysia, Bangkok. The satellite rights of 'Rendavathu Padam' have been secured by Sun TV for an undisclosed price.
Soundtrack is composed by Kannan collaborating with Amudhan for second time after Thamizh Padam. The audio was launched at Sathyam Cinemas. The event’s chief guest apart from the film’s elaborate cast and crew was the high profile cinematographer turned director, K. V. Anand and Siddharth. The event showcased a couple of songs from the film in addition to the theatrical trailer.
