About Kaashmora movie : Kaashmora is a Indian Tamil-language action film written and directed by Gokul. It features Karthi, Nayantara and Sri Divya in the lead roles. Santhosh Narayanan composed the film's score and soundtrack.
In this movie, Karthi performs three roles after dual role in Siruthai which is his earlier movie. Karthi appears as a King, a normal youth as well as a man with tonsured head in this movie. He is romancing Nayanthara for the first time in his career. It is noteworthy that Nayanthara was announced as the heroine of Karthi in Paiyaa but walked out due to unknown reasons. Sri Divya is playing as second heroine. ‘Kaashmora’ is directed by Gokul, who gave the laugh riot anthology Idharkuthaney Aasaipattai Balakumara.
3D Face scan technology, first of its kind for south Indian movie, has been used in this film. Karthi's face has been 3D scanned for an important sequence which runs 15 minutes. Kaashmora comprises 80 minutes of VFX scenes. 360 Degree omnidirectional camera rig is used for shooting a particular sequence and this is the first time for an Indian movie to use this technology. This technology covers entire 360 degree, approximately entire sphere. Omnidirectional cameras are used where large visual field coverage is needed, such as in panoramic photography. This camera is used in this movie to shoot a song and few scenes.
